What is the cost of the Cosmetology Cross-Over Program?
Our Class A Barber Program requires 300 hours to complete.
For full-time students, this is a 10 week program with 6 hours per day of class time. For part-time students, this is a 15 week program with 4 hours a day of class time.
The school will charge $10/hour for hours remaining after the contracted end date.
How long to complete this program?
Two exams must be completed after this program to finish certification. They are required by the State of Texas through TDLR after completing the 300 hours course. The exams include a written and practical test. The student is responsible for scheduling these exams after completing the 300 hours course.

Do you offer financial aid?
At this time, Game Changers does not offer financial aid assistance. However, we do offer flexible payment plans. Learn more about our payment plans on the Payment Plans page of our site. Submit an inquiry today to start the process of getting yours set up!
Do you offer bilingual courses?
Game Changers has several bilingual instructors who can assist with the courses. We are currently developing a bilingual program to better serve our enrollments. Check back for updates!
How long does this program take?
Depending on which program and your enrollment availability, each course has a different projected timeline. Review the Class A Barber Program & Cosmetology Cross-Over Program requirements at the top of this page.
Do you offer job placement?
Game Changers Barber Academy operates barber shop locations here in San Antonio. Although we cannot guarantee employment, we are happy to place you on a waiting list for an opportunity for future Game Changer Barber Lounge openings.
Will a criminal background prevent me from getting my license?
No not necessarily. It does depend on the type of crime. There is a form you can fill out prior to enrollment to see if you can receive licensing.
What happens if I don't complete the course in the contracted time frame?
GCBA charges $10.00 per an hour for remaining hours needed after the end of the contracted date.
